Heijdenburgh

Available

Old half-timbered houses and buildings with waterwheels have always fascinated me. During my travels through Belgium, France, and the South Limburg region of the Netherlands, I regularly come across these remarkable historic buildings. They continue to be a lasting source of inspiration. In this drawing, I combined traditional architecture with a lush natural landscape to create a picturesque scene. The result is an entirely imaginary place, to which I gave the fictional name Heijdenburgh.
