Winter Sun Forest

Besides industry, architecture and landscapes, nature has become an increasingly important source of inspiration for my drawings. The soft winter sun casts its light across the forest, creating a delicate interplay of light and shadow between the trees. Although many of the trees have lost their leaves, their trunks and branches still form a dense woodland through which the sunlight gently filters. Fallen leaves, delicate twigs and gently rolling hills create a peaceful natural atmosphere that I sought to capture in this drawing.
